Default 12V power outlet fix?

I've posted this in the Electronic subforum, but have had no response. Does anyone in AZ know how to keep the 12V power outlet from coming out?

My OEM 12V power supply outlet in the center console keeps working loose. It still works, but is annoying and looks cheap when it pulls out.

I'll be adding seat heaters in a week and plan to power them through that same circuit, installing control buttons next to the 12V supply. While I have that area open, is there a permanent fix that I can make to keep the 12V outlet from working its way out again?

Thanks for any help that anyone can offer.

Maybe try some thread lock or glue. Maybe even tape. I had to tighten mine once and after that it never came loose again. Note, I did not use glue or anything, just hand tightened it.

You can tighten in if you can get your hand in behind there by loosening up most of the center console. It's tricky and it takes some time, but it is possible. You don't want to mess with the screws at the top rear of the center console as they are a pain...

You need to get behind the console. I used to have this problem, but when I tightened it all back up, I used a little locktite. It's been a few years now and still no problem.

Solution? Add seat heaters. I added mine, tightened up the 12v socket, and it's not worked it's way loose since. Bam, fixed.

We'll be in behind that center piece when installing your heaters, so we can add some thread lock if you want.

..... in the middle of fukcing August...

Now, if someone wants to fix my 12v outlet with an air conditioned seat mod, I'm all ears.
Just experienced A/C seats for the first time a couple weeks ago after working out in the heat. It took me a good 5 minutes to figure out what the hell was wrong with my ass, I seriously thought something was wrong until I noticed the little blue seat icon lit up on the dash of the Ford Superdooky I was riding in.

I was thinking of a concrete vibrator for the passenger side seat. You know... For date night.

HASPORT makes those. I think they are called motor mounts.
