So for you it is hot here. For the rest of us, not as hot.
2 weeks and you are complaining? Typical New Yorker.

If you can't complain at the beginning, you surely can't complain at the end.

It's hot as hell, but like everybody said, you'll acclimate after a couple years. I put the top down at 105 the other day, and my fiance thought I was crazy. But, you can't stop going outside just because it's hot outside. Things like home maintenance, car work, etc. have to be done...you just wait until 11 PM (when it's slightly under 120) to do it.
September it will start cooling down, and by late September/early October we'll have perfect weather, just as everybody else is locking up their sports cars for the winter. Then it's top down all the way through December/January/February, when your friends on the East Coast are shoveling snow off their winter beaters.

I still haven't adjusted to waking up later. So I am usually up around 4:30am. I usually wash the car or fix up little things around the house around 5am. So far I haven't annoyed my new neighbors yet, or they just haven't decided to bitch about it.

I've been in AZ for 13 years and 118 is still way freakin' hot! Just accept it and remember that for most of the year we have the best golf weather in the country.
