Default WTT Mugen Intake 4 Yours

I have the Mugen intake and from what People have told me mine is the newer one? Its desighned to work with the SS front bumper. Was there one for use without the SS front bumper. If so would someone like to trade thieres with mine if they have the other version and plan on getting the SS front bumper?

i just tried to search, but couldn't find pictures of both next to eachother, or even just the older one at all. is there anyone that can post pictures of the two?

btw: i changed your title to attract mugen intake people. i came in and thought you wanted a totally different intake, so i was ready to trade my j's racing intake .

Dont forget that you can always use the Mr. Alex bumper duct to fit that intake.

here is the pics of both version intakes...

i asked this question b4 and i got no response...isnt that a bitch!!!

just to let u know...mugen doesnt make the v1 intake (longer one) n e more....best bet is to get the alex air duct thing from aj-racing and cut into the bumper to fit it....

but i found out myself that there are 2 different version...the old version is long and reaches to the bumper / radiator opening like the spoon and J's intakes.. the newer version is shorter to fit the SS front bumper....king motorsports says that there is no power differences becasue of how the air is routed (this is if u dont have the SS front bumper) i dont know how tru this is becasue with the SS bumper air is easily directed into the intake and up to the filter....

here are some pics...its the upper left

the newer version

King's said that the current intake gets just as much air with OEM bumper as with the SS bumper
with oem, it gets air from Hi pressure area. With SS bumper due to it being shaped differently, that is why there is a hole for air
King's also said that cutting a hole in stock bumper will do NOTHING in gaining more air
