I figured the carpet or the vinyl were made to fit over the same console so I took off the carpet and used the existing attach holes for the vinyl cover. They lined up perfectly. The fit is just like a MY02 stock fitment. And don't be discouraged by people saying you'll "never" get a OEM one. The guy I bought mine off of was making his car into a racer and didn't want all the interior bits anymore. Here's a pic:
