Question about "E BAY"

I found a motor and the seller has this "Feedback"

"37 positives. 35 are from unique users.

1 neutrals.

0 negatives. 0 are from unique users"


it should be safe to bay from this dude or what du u think ??

 

I don't see why not. What's the neutral say? Proabably something that got damaged and he refunded the money.

35 unique users means that someone bought multiple things from him and left feedback for them. I'll only take one of them and add it to the star number.

I found a motor on ebay but missed it with 100$..

a couple of Weeks later I get a mail from the seller asking if I still is interested in the motor.
I answered of course , if the price is right, and it was...

Now to the hard part... The paying....

I don't feel like shipping a hole bunch of money and receiving a crate with bricks....

As it is outside ebay I don't have that security...

He doesn't want to use escrow.com because he "have heard horror stories about those escrow people"....


I have offered me to send money to cover for the shipping and then pay rest Cash On Delivery so neither of us risk being ripped of, but he don't seams to like that idea...


He suggest paypal.com but after what I can see they don't give the same protection and if I get ripped of, they only refund me with up to 200$ and that of course don't help me much...






Do paypal have any security or what should I do ???

or is my only option to send him all the money and hope that he doesn

 

Tell him you want to go with escrow.com and you can cover the costs.
Its the best way to protect yourself.
If he keeps giving you excuses look elsewhere!

the seller on tthe 2nd link above had this for sale a few months ago at 5500 now he wants over 7K.

I am also looking for a head(bare is fine) (1K or less) and SB they don't have to be together(500-800). If anyone knows if either of these are available anywhere please let me know.
