50 to 75 pounds? that's impossible because the stocks don't weigh that much,

wilwood makes a product called dynalites, you don't know if these calipers are them?

Those are dynalites. I have the same kit, and it is 22lbs lighter than stock.

new ones from summit racing are 600 bucks. doesnt seem worth it

I have this set. The calipers aren't really what you're paying for. The bracket is. Rotors are cheap for this kit - $70 for both fronts (they are two piece), and pads are around $60 for whatever compound you want. You can swap the pads without removing the caliper. The convenience is what I bought these for. Plus, if a caliper goes bad, it's cheap to buy another.

The kit itself doesn't really increase stopping that much, but the cost of parts and ease of switching out pads was worth it to me.
