Built-in hard drive navigation
The navigation drive features more than 13 million points of interest and multiple destination searches, so it's easy to find restaurants, hotels, and landmarks in unfamiliar places. The hard drive houses all navigation features, so you can use the CD/DVD player and get directions at the same time. You can choose between 2D and 3D map displays, with direct scroll and direct zoom features to make viewing easier. The built-in RDS-TMC tuner helps you avoid traffic jams.

Plenty of room for music
The KD-NX5000 plays CDs and DVDs loaded with MP3, WAV, and WMA files, so music is no problem. You can also load up to 26 gigabytes of your digital music or CDs to the internal hard drive — that's almost 460 standard length CDs right in your dash. You can search for MP3 files in the hard drive by album name, artist, or song title. Whatever you listen to, you can rely on the forceful built-in amplifier and precise 7-band equalizer to make it sound great.

DVD movies and more
JVC designed the KD-NX5000 to play all sorts of movie formats when you're parked, including regular DVDs, DVD-R and DVD-RW, MPEG 1 and 2 formats, and DivX movie files. You can even add another movie or gaming source to the gold-plated video input terminals.
