Yea, but to be honest.. I'd much rather have them man-up to their initial mistakes of not actually OPENING up my differential and inspecting it other than just moving parts under my car, and driving it in and out of the service bay (as the test drive)...
I just want the DEALER to fix their problem, instead of them being puuuussies and sending the problem and bill off to their big-brother (Honda Corp.)...

If you buy it from hardtop guy, he sends you a 4.77 geared differential for 1200 dollars and then you need to send him your differential. i'm not sure what a stock diff cost (there should be a market for it since so many ppl break theirs), but you can deduct that from his asking price to guage the true value of what you are spending.
p.s. My city mileage is also improved and also keeps me out of highway speeding tickets

would the 4.77's take more abuse than stock. just blew out my diff and need an upgraded replacement. i do take the car to the drag strip and i do alot of drifting. i need something that will handle the abuse. that way i can fix the next thing that breaks, for my list is getting longer every day.

I only have been to the drag strip twice with it, and launched around 9 times from a dig and have never had any issues. I feel that it makes it easier not to blow your diff since now you have lower gearing which in turn makes it easier to spin out the tires at the launch instead of all the power going straight to the diff causing it to possible break. If you drop it at 6k, your off wtih wheel spin all the time. May not be great for the clutch, but doing this will not damage your diff.
