Um, no. I don't understand why this is confusing you. When you buy a car from a dealer, you are buying it first hand. When you buy a header from a vendor, you are buying it first hand also. Did you buy this header from a vendor? If you did buy it from a vendor, and not another member, then you need to clear that up. If you did not buy it from a vendor, but instead bought it from another guy who bought it from the vendor, then you bought it second hand, and are now selling it 3rd hand.

Unless the facts are confused here, there's really no reason to argue the meaning of the phrase "Third Hand" anymore, unless you just want the free bumps.

I do like the free bumps, thanks . And sorry for the misunderstanding. However, I feel you are insinuating that I'm a bad seller. I believe when I got the header it was under honesty and integrity. So I sell my headers with the same intentions.

I don't understand the correlation between these concepts at all. You could say that you are the 3rd owner of this header, or that you are the header's new owner. You just can't say this header is 2nd hand when it is being sold to its 3rd owner.

 

I apologize if you thought I was saying anything about you as a seller. You made it very clear that you are the 2nd owner, so I'm definitely not trying to say you are hiding anything at all. We've just gotton off on an unrelated, silly argument about the meaning of the phrase "third hand".

 

BTW, if your girlfriend told you that you are her 10th, you can bet your are really her 20th!
