You suppose to link up the wire to the motor and your chasis in multiple location. They have claim grounding your motor in multiple places can provide HP gain. Wierd theory, but they have proof which said it works!

It is supposed to brighten your headlights a tad, smoother power, idle, better gas mileage.

It basically helps out the electrical system on your car and in turn does a little of everything.

I don't know about hp gains...but I put the HKS kit in my WRX and it helped the eletrical system for sure...I used to see slight dimming of dash lights and clock on peak boost and it is gone after the kit is installed. On my 3rd gen RX7, it also fixed the 3k hestitation during the transistion of the twin turbo. I think it is always good to have good ground...but I don't know if the S needs it.
