Yeah, sucks. I bought this one in error, thinking it was bolt-on for MY00. I'm going to take a look at my broken diff (obviously not this one) and see if I just need a new seal and bearing or if I need to replace the gears too.

 

IIRC all you need to do it replace the output flange on the 04 diff with your 00 one and itll bolt straight up

 

Don't forget the driveshaft companion flange... I think that has to be replaced also since it has 10mm bolts compared to 8mm AP1 bolts.

 

this is an easy change with the parts you already have. I have an ap2 diff on my ap1
