Right
I am pretty sure you are correct. This will not play the radio in Europe and the Sattelite radio will not work as well. Sorry

Interested but I have a question. How do you utilize the extra two channels on a MY03? Would I need a different harness?

Thanks.

Good Question. I believe the harness has the wires on it but I don't have acess to an 00-03. Can anybod else out there clarify?

If not there are two options.

1)You can add wires to the connector on the stock harness

2)you can use an aftermarket harness

I have the wiring diagram which I will be happy to send with the HU

PS-- Sorry for the late reply but my internet access at work is limited.

Latesleeper,

It looks like you can get an adapter for $10 from
hardtopguy

Retro Speaker Harness

If your adding aftermarket rear seat speakers to your S this is the harness needed. No cutting into main radio harness to get speaker leeads.
List price: $ 12.50
Our price: $ 10.00, Save 20%

Hope this helps

all s2000 radios have the rear speaker outs. you need the harness even if you buy a 04-05 HU, too.
