I just sold my S2000 and removed the short shifter from it before the sale.
It has grease all over it in pictures but it should be all greased when used anyways. I will wipe it down a little for shipping but you want all contact points covered in grease normally.

It looks like there will be a group buy. It will be 4-5 months out approximately before they should be available. So end of this year to beginning of the next year the latest it looks like.
