These fenders were suppose to go on my car but the bodyshop that I went to WAS NOT able to get them to align properly with the rest of the car without some modifications to the fenders. I am not sure if it's the fenders or the shop that's the cause of this. The shop says it's not fitting right, Mastergrade says the shop isn't doing it right, so who the hell am I gonna believe.

You make the call if you decide to buy them. I just thought I take a shot and put up this post to see if anyone would be interested. They're boxed up right now ready to be shipped back to Mastergrade for a refund if no one is interested. Prefer local sale (NJ, PA, DE, NY) if possible due to the size of the box. If anyone is interested and would like to see them b/f purchasing I will gladly show them to you.

How much are you asking for them? I know an excellent shop that may be able to get those fenders on. I can tell you the name of the shop if you're interested in trying to get them on to your car.

You have to cut off the top bracket by the windhsield pillar and modify it. You also have to remove the windshield washer and relocate it. None that were mentioned when I bought them.

They take a lot of work.

I will say the quality of the fibergalss is first rate. Boat grade and strong.

They will be done next week.

 

I too must admit the quality of the fiberglass was alot better than I expected them to be. Also, when I purchased the fenders I too was not told about relocating the windshield reservior. Oh well, I am just glad it's over with. I finally got my sidemarkers in today. What an ordeal it has been.

I am looking to get $500 + shipping. Mastergrade has them listed for $600 + $195 for shipping (CCX) freight. I am in Philly if any of you local guys wanna pick it up yourself I will be more than happy to meet you half way. I would also consider a trade, however I will only consider the following items.

1. Full hi mount Hindle exhaust system for 2001 CBR 929. It is ok if this is used so long as it's not scratched and is functional.

2. Berlina black hardtop and I will pay you the difference between your asking and my asking price for the fenders.

3. Rick's 4.44 gears and I will pay you the difference.

4. OEM fog lights for a 2003 Acura RSX Type S + cash.

5. Berlina Black OEM rear spoiler for S2000 + cash.
