stock f2x blocks can be rebored to 87.25MM, for which properly sized pistons are available. OP stated that the block is at 87.50. There is no oem H22 or Mahle Gold piston to fit that, asides from the fact that any overbore past the .25 limit will infact make it weaker. That block needs to be re-sleeved and needs aftermarket pistons.

no they are 87.5mm. oem h22 type s pistons i know cause i bought them, they are .5 over and yes if you bore ANY block out it makes the sleeves weaker, they make over sized pistons for a reason. there is still plenty of frm material on the sleeves. if your concerned about the sleeves, there is someone on here selling another block for $100 and you can get 87mm pistons than... i didnt ask for your opinion but thanks ..

Respectfully, there's no OEM piston that's 87.50. If there is one then show me where and I'll gladly take my statement back.

Secondly, Oversized pistons are not made to reinforce a "weakened" overbored block. They're made simply to keep the piston to wall clearance correct. A .25 overbore WILL NOT weaken the block. However, any more than that on the F2X block will make it weaker and unserviceable. This is straight from the Honda Service Manual so this is fact.

In other words, even if you managed to fit these so called 87.50 pistons in the block, it is already weakened by the excessive removal of the FRM coating.

I'm not here to damage your thread dude... I am just stating some facts you may not be aware of yourself. It would suck to see a thread made about you ripping someone off cuz the stuff didn't work right.

In any case, good luck with the sale. Thanks.
