Invidia q300 (V4) SOLD
Hey guys,
Got this from UPS yesterday. Put it on. Wife HATES it.
It has five miles on it and I have original box and packing.
Looking to get $500 plus shipping. (I think ups ground to anywhere is $60 or less)
Heading home to remove and will check pm's this evening if anyone is interested in it.

hmmm, just wondering why doesnt the wife like it? I heard it was a queit exhaust
I took it out and went a couple freeway miles and came back and loved it under way. Once I got the thing over 20 miles and hour, it sounds almost exactly like stock. It did not drone. Under VTEC it was just a little louder than stock and maybe a tad higher pitched. Loved it and would keep it but for the deep sound in low rpm under load.
We are both professional people and take the car to nice restaurants and such, and she said nothing that would draw attention. Well, she thinks it will draw attention.
I don't know how to describe it to anyone because I have only seen one S2000 in person with an aftermarket exhaust. To me, the exhaust was loudest between 0-10 miles an hour and I don't think it was volume, I think it was bass.

it is but its still a 70mm and still is decently loud
The midpipe matches up exactly with the 60mm Berk HF cat I bought. The piping through the mufflers is is larger that the stock piping but I don't think is 70. Since I could not measure stock pipe diameter, I measured circumferance with a string. Invidia is definately bigger but not huge.
I would not expect any huge gain from it, but it felt like it was breathing easier and really free revving in 5000+ rpm.
It was almost exactly what I wanted, great price, a bit freer flow, looks nice, dual. Wife hates it, and I would like it to be a teensy bit less low toned in my work parking garage.

That sucks man. I got the megan exhaust, and that thing is LOUD. Luckily I had just helped out the GF through some tough times, so she couldn't really say anything. Kudos to you for keeping the lady happy, and good luck with the sale.
