BRIBE, Scot with fine beer don't bride it You are entitled to your opinion - if it pisses people off they don't have to read it. Frankly, the whole thing is rather amusing, why in the world would anyone want to sell their S2000?

Let's kill this thread once and for all with the following comparison. Since you were so gracious to remind us of your Spoon wheels for sale at $1300, I thought the following comparison might interest you. Your wheels shown first weigh 11/12-lbs respectively in 16x7/16x8 sizes with offsets of ET35 and 45.

Pictured below are Rota Slipstreams which weigh 13.8-lbs in a 16x7 size with offsets of 45mm and arguably a better fit than the Spoons (less outboard distances from OEM).

Since it's Oscar time, shall we open the ballot?

Price of Spoon? $1300 shipping NOT included.
Price of Rota? $465 DELIVERED.

Sometimes when you pay more you get more but in this case, there appears
to be many who can't justify your price when there is a near-exact replica (great quality wheel as well) for just over 1/3 the price. Why is it that everyone else is stupid for pricing their S2000's so high when your own thread for the Spoons is treading water? Are Spoons better than Rotas? Of course they are and no one would argue the point but are they $900 better? Considering two weeks into their initial posting they remain unsold, apparently not.
Might I be so bold as to suggest you consider your own advice and price them to sell. Then again, maybe the rest of us are just too stupid to know a great deal when we see one. Thank goodness we have you around to remind us.

This thread is done, but not without a last word or two from me. One of the few perks I get as mod. Scot, I'm actually sick of having to deal with you ragging on people's choice of price when they list their car for sale. As several people mention above, who are you to decide the value of someone elses car? There are way too many variables to simply say a 2000 S2K will go for this much and a 2001 for this much. Personally, if I were looking for a car and saw one that met my criteria on the board I'd pm the guy. If he was asking too much I'd say so and ask him to come down. No biggy. I'd really appreciate it if you'd stay out of other people's business. They can ask whatever they want.
