Let me explain some things because I keep getting a lot of people that aren't reading what I'm saying about this enclosure.

The "green stuff" on the bottom of the enclosure is unfinished fiberglass that has soaked through the fleece that is used to spray the fiberglass in when you're doing the molding. It is not mold. It is fiberglass.

The reason that it looks like this is because it is not sanded down and painted. The reason it is not sanded down and painted is because it is the BOTTOM of the enclosure. The part that sits completely in the tool well and can not be seen once the enclosure is seated.

Nobody finishes the fiberglass that is not going to be seen unless you don't care about time or the extra money to do so. It just doesn't make sense to do. It is never seen. Why make something look pretty that will never be seen? It serves it's function.

I refuse to explain this anymore... I'm not trying to be rude or mean, I'm just sick of explaining this to everyone.

It is fiberglass. If you don't like how the bottom of the enclosure looks, that's fine... You'll never see it when it's sitting in your car. So, don't worry.

Please don't be like LABrit and waste my time telling me you're interested in this item and then come up with lame reasons blaming me for the reason you don't want to buy the item later.

Some points of confusion:

1) The green stuff - It's unfinished fiberglass. No, I will not finish the bottom of this enclosure and paint it for you. You can do that if you want. It's the bottom of the box and will never be seen once it's installed in your car.

2) Shipping - I will not be doing the packing myself. I take it to the shop where I do the shipping and they do the packing. That way if anything breaks during shipping due to poor packing, the shop holds itself responsible and they pay for the broken item. That's why I pay them to do the packing. They do it right. This does not mean that I do not care about how the item is packaged. This means the exact opposite. I pay someone else to pack it properly for me. LABrit couldn't understand that.

3) Warranty - There is no warranty left on these items. The JL Audio sub only has a 1 year warranty. The sub is a month over 1 year old. The amp still has a warranty on it but I do not have the paper work anymore for the warranty. I moved in January and the paperwork is no longer with me.

4) Paypal - I do accept paypal. However, if I do "free shipping" or something for you, don't get all upset when I tell you I don't want to lose out on PayPal fee's. If I'm already having to eat the shipping costs, I do not want to eat the PayPal fee's too.

Ok, guys... The sale is pending right now to Silverstone5. If he backs out then I will reopen the sale.

Btw, SuzukaS, thanks for backing me up on the fiberglass.

I offered you $400. You said you would accept if nobody else bought it by Monday. That is hardly 'sucking you dry.'

I then asked questions regarding packaging and shipping and your response gave me no confidence that you gave a shit about this product ending up at the buyers place in good condition.

Yes, but then you wanted me to eat the PayPal fee's too when I asked you to pay me in some other method besides PayPal so that I wouldn't lose my ass on the deal since I was already considering skipping on shipping for you.

Also, regarding the packing... You're retarded. I said that I was going to have the shop that ships the package pack it. So, basically, I'm paying a shop that specializes in packaging and shipping to pack the items for you. Explain to me how that in any way relates that I don't care about the condition of the product or how it ends up at the buyers place? I'm PAYING a specialist to pack it.

I'm sorry, but I'd much rather trust a shop to pack and ship something where they have the appropriate materials and do it daily than expect you to do it correctly.

Then you're telling me your "buddy" said that he's never seen green on the bottom of a fiberglass box and then you tell me that it needs to be finished and painted? You're obnoxious and have no clue as to what you were talking about.

I was about to sever the deal myself... I'm glad you did before me.

Well, HiFi Buys (Tweeter) made this box... They're very well known for some of the best and biggest winners in the IASCA competitions. Their custom installs are awesome and I have used them for every car I have owned.

If anyone has ever had a custom install done from them, they wouldn't be worried about the enclosure at all.
