Ok guys, here's what I have...you may have seen my post in WTB for lots of pieces for a customer. He is thinking he may sell the car as is, or part it out.

The car will need: Engine.....he has already purchased a JDM spec engine, which is in pristine condition. It may even be brand new, from an in-transit wreck. He paid 4k for the motor in drop-in state, and will sell it with the car or separately, depending on how this turns out. He may be able to return the engine as well.

-The soft top has been slashed, small, but possibly fixable

-Seats are gone

-Dash and bezel are gone, I do have leads on these parts for a good price.

-steering wheel is gone, I found one, with no air bag

-ignition switch is gone, harness is cut

-body has minor damage...may need one front fender, bumper, and paint on the door

So, if anybody is looking to build an s2k, this is a good fixer upper. Or if enough interest is shown, we will part it out. What do you guys think this thing is worth in it's present state?

If you are parting out, there a few little things i would be interested in. If the car gas any of the optional equipment.
Windscreen, wheel locks, driver's side window regulator, side strakes, toe hook, front lip, center caps, etc.

what year is this car, and what color interior ?
If you guys do part it out and its a 02-03 with black interior, i would take dibs on the interior door panels

What happened to the car then? Is it a theft recovery?

 

No....He was waiting on me to change the motor. While in wait, he got vandalized. He's not insured, so it will be too expensive for him to repair.
