Hmm, there are 7 BNIB OEM 2.2L short blocks for sale online for a higher price than this Spoon one. I'd say getting the Spoon block makes more sense. Good luck with the sale!

I bought mine for under $4000. Whoever is selling them for that much is a ****ing scoundrel.

Thanks! My understanding is that there are no more OEM short blocks in the hands of American Honda. So the only way to go is to get a Spoon block or buy from someone who is probably trying to make a sweet buck off one they bought a while ago.

Similar to previous posters - California questions:
1. Can this be run with the stock 02-03 Ap1 ecu?
2. Can this be run on 91 OCT (California)
3. Any ideas on whether this engine will pass CARB/Smog?

I think that may be true for F20C and 04-05 F22C specific short blocks. I bought a F22C short block for 06+ 4-5 months ago.

I just called Honda the other day. The 06+ are no longer available.

i've always been curious, why does spoon keep offering this stroked 2.0l motor when the 2.2l is available.
Is there any advantage to this?
