Yeah if I saw a ~$12,000 long block for sale at $6400 I would jump on it too, lol!

The block is completely wrapped and sealed, as it came from Spoon. If you are serious about purchasing and being able to see some sort of certification is keeping you from pulling the trigger shoot me a PM or text and I will get you what you need. I would rather not break the seal on the block unless it's absolutely necessary.

I would suggest you ad information about which block this is, F20C or F22C. Spoon describes the F20C 2.2L block as " requires a structure change. Please consult our sales office regarding the required documents and the like."

This is an F20c block with the 90mm crank in it. What the rough translation is referring to is Having to document the engine displacement change with the Japanese government to have the car registered for tax purposes. Cars are taxed by displacement.

This short block is ready to be dropped into any S2000.
