i just got my fumoto valves in for the s2000 and the element. i have one question though, i cant seem to get the valve open. does it need pressure on the back for it to open?

just pull the lever towards you and turn it. The lever sticks at first to ensure that the valve doesn't just open during any type of sudden jolts.

i used a pair of pliers to open it. i am now totally confident that this thing will not open accidentally.

i got it on monday too. perfect piece, i saw no adapter which is said to be needed though.
