Up for sale I have an s2000 Spoon Sports header, It is a 4-2-1 setup, and has a beautiful bronze, w/ purple patina, and looks just amazing on the car. When I bought my car, it had 4k miles, and had $20k in after market parts on it all imported directly from Japan including the header. You should see the stack of aftermarket parts manuals that are all in Japanese's that came with the car, its hilarious, haha. Anyhow I was told when I bought the car, that it was a Titanium spoon header, but after doing some research and not finding any such header to have ever existed for sale, I don't believe that to be true, but who knows. However it is definitely a Spoon S2000 Header, as its identical to the one listed for sale everywhere for $1400. I just think its a standard stainless one, not titanium, but who knows... The craftsmanship is unbelievable, and the header is in near perfect condition, as it was removed from the car very carefully when it had only 11k miles, therefore I estimate the header has about 10k miles of usage on it. Has the O2 bung in it as well of course, and if you ask me is in the PERFECT spot, PERFECT length down the tube according to my 02 sensor install manual, just overall an extremely well built, and good condition header.
There are some spots in the photos that look like rust, but they are nothing of the sort. Its just a tarnished spot where oil has landed there, and burned off. So those dots are just purple tarnish spots. I didnt really try to clean them up to much because the purple on brass patina just looks so good.
What you see is what you get, I looked through my paperwork, but unfortunately I do not have the original paperwork on the header. Just to satisfy anyone who is concerned about this, I guarantee it to be 100% authentic, and it sounds MEAN with my HKS exhaust! It has No head shield, or heat shield brackets on the header, its all about showing this one off!!
