yeah I've been seat hunting lately and i'm afraid these really are replicas, they come with the silver sparkling finish on the back. If it's really carbon/kevlar then I might take it off your hands, however I request that you put a scratch in the finish for verification. I do not want to have a broken spine from being rear ended

 

on a second thought, don't worry about it. I don't really have a show car, i need seat(s) that are crash tested. thanks though and good luck. just don't market this seat as an original, you could get sued if somebody has a traffic accident and gets catapulted out of their S or even worse, gets compressed under the dash.
