If I understand this correctly, this exhaust has an integrated test pipe? Are you able to install without the test pipe and use the factory cat?

it was designed to...unless for some odd reason they welded them together but I doubt they would do that.

The test pipe is seperate from the cat-back Mugen exhaust. It is to replace your OEM cat.

DId the test pipe make the exhaust louder ? Im thinking of adding a test pipe if its going to make my exhaust (same as yours) louder.

Basically the test pipe is a straight pipe that replaces the catalytic convertor. Should you decide not to use the test pipe, the exhaust bolts directly to the OEM catalytic convertor.
