well... I just can't seem to catch a break now...First the roommate does this to me. and now... my laptop is nowhere to be found

That was the 1st thing on my mind. I don't know what happened to it. I haven't used the laptop since last week sometime and I thought it was in my room. It's not in my room, not in my apt, nowhere. I have called almost everyone and nobody knows where it is. I was hoping someone borrowed it but just didn't tell me. Nobody would ever do that and never has, but I was at least hoping... I do have renter's insurance... but it's almost not even worth filing a claim... this really sucks!!!!

SKIP I wil send you a PM and e-mail also letting you know what's going on. If for some odd reason it pops back up out of nowhere, I will let you know and you can have it of course for the same amount as the ending bid.

 

Not happy that you put an item up for bid, yet you did not have the item. Personally, I know crap happens. If anyone knows that, it's me. But I can't help but think that you expected to get more for the item and did not. Sorry, but that's the way it looks.

And yes, not hearing from you for days does not lend credibility to your story. As another person noted, you bumped your thread with the ending time.

you can think whatever you want to think Skip. I tried to email you on both email accounts and it returned the email both times. I will gladly sell the laptop to you for that amount if it turns up. I needed this money badly. You think I wanted this to happen? I'm sorry that this happened. That's all I can say. I'm not the type of person to pull some BS like that. Ask anyone that has bought parts from me on here. I shipped them out immediately. Everyone loses money on parts and used items. Nobody expects to get what they paid for out of it.

As for "not getting more for the item." I would have put a reserve on the item if I wanted a certain amount. Once again. I'm sorry that this happened. I'm pretty much screwed right now cause the laptop is missing and I needed that money to get caught up on bills. I really don't appreciate you "hinting" at the fact that I didn't get enough money out of the auction.
