no I was just talking about the much wider contact path which will mean more friction, but I can see that the levels of grip would more than make up for that in a shorter course which doesn't have a long/fast straights

iirc, it is about a 1.25" or so spacer.

But back to the wheels, what is the offset on these ? im in the market for new wheels and wouldnt mind trying to pick these up if I can get my for sale items sold fairly soon

Hey Xavier! Long time no see! Dude, thes'd look awesome on your car! May have to rais it up a tad though prolly won't be able to clip road reflectors with these wheels on the car anymore... haha! I'm not 100% sure on the offset (since CCW uses backspace to measure wheels, not offset)...... but This Calculator says that an 11.5" wide wheel with a 9" backspace will have an offset of about 69.8mm........ i used 11.5" wide wheel, since backspace is measured off the TOTAL width of the wheel, and the 11" wide part is measured from the inside of the wheel bead, so there has to be room left for the lip to protrude on each side... and iirc, the overall width is about 11.5"... i'll have to double check when i get to the shop tomorrow.
