Yes, this isn't the same as the Valentine1 detector with the directional arrows, but its performance is certainly on par or even better than (in most circumstances) than the V1. In addition, many of the useful features of the STi are not found on the V1 radar (as noted in the radar review).

dam where were you literally 3 days ago. i just got my rx65 3 days ago and only got it because I couldnt find a STi for a reasonable price.

good luck. great price for a new unit.
