Default FS: Alpine MRV T420 $200. :D

Barely used (Two weeks) Alpine MRV-T420. First $200 plus shipping takes it. I decided to use an JL audio 250/1 for my JL Stealth Box. The JL Audio Stealth box is 3 ohms.
The Alpine amp bridged is 4 ohms. In short I never got to use it because it did not match my sub.

I bought it down here at a place named Rhodes.

I installed it in my S2000 but it did sound right with my JL audio stealth box 3 ohms. I went back to the JL audio dealer(Speakerwarehouse in Hollywood FL) they exchanged my sub for a 10w3 @ 2 ohms dual voice coil configured to 4 ohms. The sub now had a one year warranty instead of the two year warranty that the stealth box had. It sounded great but I was un easy about giving up the warranty. So I went back again, I decided to get my speaker back and purchase a new JL audio amp. Now I have two amps one sub. The alpine has to go before my wife kills me for spending so much money on my car's stereo.

It's still under the Alpine Warranty period. It has not been registered with Alpine.

If you read carefuly. I chaged the 3ohms woofer for a 2 ohms 10w3 woofer dual voice coil at 4ohms when first installed. Not the 3 ohms subwoofer.

How long was the 3ohm woofer connected to the amp?

For about two minutes before we decided to change the subwoofer for one compatible with the amp.
