FS: 135 gallon fish tank with stand/canopy
I have a 135 gallon All-Glass tank with very nice wooden stand, and canopy. Lighting is two 48" 50/50 actinic/day bulbs but they need to be replaced. Filtration included is an Aquaclear 500, two Penguin 330s, and an Emperor 400 - all HOB filters. I also have two Aquaclear 800 powerheads. This is nearly 1600 gallons of filtration per minute - and can handle a huge load of fish. All filters have biological bacteria already so there is no "new tank syndrome" where all your fish die for a month or two to worry about.
I am EXTREMELY knowledgeable about fishkeeping, as I've been a moderator on a cichlid forum, bred fish, and even won tank of the month in April 2004 on cichlid-forum.com. I can help you set it up anyway you like or help with recommendations for stocking. I'm familiar with high pH low salt freshwater setups for African cichlids mostly but I've set up planted tanks and can advise on marine tanks as well.
The canopy is wood and needs a bit of attention - the water that evaporates has been warping some of the wood underneath and needs to be cleaned and siliconed to be sealed and further prevent any damage. The tank has a few scratches here and there but is in good shape, and the stand is mint.
If anyone is interested, please let me know as I need to get rid of this tank as it's a tad big for a guy who moves once a year. The dimensions are 6 feet long, 2 feet high, and 18 inches deep. This is a huge tank, and will allow you to keep some really nice large species in it. I will be keeping the fish that are in it now, but there is roughly 70-100 pounds of white playsand and a few hundred pounds of granite rock in there for you - a very realistic looking setup.
Looking for 600 obo

Well I was always under the assumption that it was 135. It is quite an old aquarium - probably 10 or 15 years old. I'm pretty positive that it's 135 so maybe it's not AGA?
It seems that cichlid-forum is not allowing me to link to their site. If you go there, click your tanks, and go to 2004 winners look for my tank as the April 2004 winner.
Here's the shot I loaded in imageshack:
Aulonocara stuartgranti "Ngara Flametail" this was a near show quality fish
Placidochromis phenochilus:
An 11 year old Synodontis multipunctatus!
Again I'm keeping my fish (moving to a more portable 55 gallon) but the tank is up for grabs. I can get shots of the entire thing soon (it's at my mother's house and she wants it gone!!!).

I'm not sure what ruby reds are - I always went by the scientific name because the common names vary from region to region You're right about stores carrying weak fish - the big chain stores like petsmart, petco, pet supermarket all have terrible fish selection and breeds. You have to go to specialty shops or local auctions if you want the good stuff! I used to have some 2-3 inch long wild caught Altolamprologus calvus that I paid over 100 apiece for a few years ago but they were breathtaking fish. I tried to breed them but I was unsuccessful as it's a tough species to breed in captivity.
Thanks for the compliments!

I feed New Life Spectrum pellets as a staple and Ocean Nutrition flake as well. I used to feed turkey heart and brine shrimp to help the females get ready for spawning but I don't breed anymore
