5 point standard with a harness bar and a cross bar (looks like a good spot for a camera mount). Cusco considers/labels both of these bars as 5pt counting the cross bar as a point

Yes it is the black bar.

My friend Harry Cash "hecash" has a great write up on how to install the bar. He has I believe the 6 point version or he added his own six point.

what type of modification do you have to do in order to fit the bars? do you need some cutting? also, is the proper way for the harness to be installed? ?

 

that's obviously not the correct way to install the harness. It needs to be bolted to the frame of the vehicle and around the harness bar. You do not need to do any modifications in order to fit the bar really just cut a couple of panels or remove them.
