I have a pair of Falken Azenis that are practically band new with maybe 500 miles on them, they are 255/40/17. The other pair is Falken Ziex with about 60% tread. On one of the tires some rubber was ripped off by my front fender catching it on a turn. It does the weaken the tire at all but it is noticeable, you can see in one of the pictures, the size is 225/45/17.
