the material looks like stuff you can buy @ home depot. I think you got ripped off.

I don't think you can get this from Home Depot all custom fit to the S2K? The tubing yes, but not the rest.

The point of this for sale thread is not to try to bash what the seller has for sale or debate if he got a good deal or not. If you are interested in purchasing the item or have an informative, factual comment to add then great. If not please keep your comments to yourself.

Since when does Home Depot sell high temp hose 2" inch in diameter designed to withstand 600 degrees of heat?

This is for a car not a dryer..

FYI, This is the upgraded hosing that they offer than can handle way more heat.

^^Thanks.

LovemyS2000 - it fits an AP1 only. They have talked about coming out with an AP2 kit, but I have not seen it yet.

Still up For Sale.

Yeah, I'm so sorry...I guess I don't know what I'm talking about. I guess you tested all the tubes at home depot to see if they can withstand 600 degree heat. In that case, this is a great deal. But if people want a cheaper alternative, they may want to search "do it yourself" brake ducting because there are lots of DIY that use home depot material.

Hey man it's no biggie. I think the beauty of this kit is that it is pretty much plug and play, plus it's put together pretty nice. Powdercoated finish, aluminum pieces.

But you are correct it is possible to put together something that suits your needs from Home Depot, hobby stores, etc.
