It's recommended to resurface the flywheel any time a new clutch is installed. Does this have a reusable, machinable surface or is the surface bolted in?

its the regular surface on a flywheel, its just one piece. i understand that about the resurfacing, but the clutch and flywheel where both brand new when installed. there is no shuddering with this flyhweel, its smooth engagement. i just dont like how lite it is. thats all. there is only 2k miles on it.

I'm interested, but you have to realize that it does not not matter if it had 2k or 200k miles. There were no problems when you installed it, but unless your selling me the matching clutch, I'm gonna have a problem if I install this. Once it's installed, even if driven for 1 mile, it should be resurfaced if a new clutch is used.

I can get this for $290 brand new, shipped.

Why would you have a problem installing this? It's recommend because a flywheel can warp and lose shape after an extended period of time. I personally would not resurface with only 2k miles if it has not be driven hard. That me personally.

Why would you have an issue? Its not warped....
