Honda S2000 AP2 Cylinder Head For Sale

I bought this cylinder head brand new from Honda in 2020 to replace the original head in my car that was damaged by an engine overheat episode. The part number is 10003-PZX-A02. See attached screenshot of this cylinder head assembly. See attached invoice and copy of receipt for the purchase. The price of this new cylinder head assembly is $4,450 excluding sales tax and shipping. This cylinder head was installed (along with a brand new OEM Honda short block) in my car for less than 900 miles when the thrust washer in the short block failed and ruined the short block. Last year I removed and disassembled the bad engine and recovered this cylinder head assembly. I have since installed a complete used engine. You can check my posts on this forum for legitimacy.

I recently checked the head surface for warping (which I didn’t expect since the head was never subjected to overheating) per page 6-35 of the Honda service manual. I used a precision straight edge and a 0.0015” feeler gauge – see photos. In all six directions, the measurement of warpage was less than 0.0015” – I couldn’t get the feeler gauge under the straight edge anywhere. I have also included photos of the assembly and the intake and exhaust ports. The price is $3000 firm plus packaging/shipping cost. I plan to ship the head in a wood crate with all openings sealed and the head secured inside the crate. Once I have a buyer and know their location, I will calculate the shipping cost (which includes the crate and other packing materials). If I can't get this asking price, I'll just hold on to it in case I need it in the future.
