I believe Revhard has a turbo kit for under $4000. Any forced induction is bad for the car. You are forcing more power to the engine/car than what it was designed for. It will shorten the life of the car, it just depends how well you drive it and maintain your car.

I'll sell you a full turbo kit for real cheap. only $2,000. Less than half the price of all other kits out there, and gives the same performance gains. I can give you a good price 'cause I got mad hookups. PM me for more info or just have your parents send me a money order or cashier's check.

Dumb questions. There is no such thing as a cheap turbo kit. Even if you are given it for free it's going to cost you in terms of install, tuning, downtime, grief etc.

Whether or not it's worth turboing an S2000 only an S2000 owner can answer, and only for their car.

They are bad if they aren't done right. They are good if they are. But once again I suggest it's subjective. Wesmaster has blown (and blown) several engines and other components but I suspect he would think it is good. If you or I had the same experience we might not feel the same.

To try and summarise an answer to your questions I would say that a cheap turbo on an S2000 is not a good thing. And nor is typing with the CAPS LOCK on.

Cheap and Turbo should not be used in the same sentence.

Ask around at what other people's turbo setups have cost, and what they put out... the bang for the buck isn't there.

Jason, I've got 5 grand in my turbo kit, thats including the AEM EMS, @ 9psi I made 265 on a Mustang Dyno, add 10-11% for dyno jet numbers.

If you can get to a good tuner, a turbo kit can add power and still be reliable with that correct parts that are good quality. Same goes for any other modification to the car.

You stole the words right out of my mouth before I had a chance to say it.
