Might be interested.. Did you feel a big difference from the stock final drive? Was it a worthwhile upgrade? What brand of final gear? Mfactory?

 

I am not sure who makes the 4.57 gear as I purchased it already built. It is the best mod that you can actually feel. It is definitely more torque and quicker from the line. I sold my S2000 and put the original diff back on so this unit is now out of the car.

 

How many miles on it before you put it on? How is the whine? Any other mods, or is it just a stock AP2 diff with the 4.57 FD?

 

I don't recall the miles from previous owner, I purchased here from a member of this forum. I put roughly 15k on it and I don't burn rubber, I have another car that can do that better. There are no issues, there is little whine difference from stock but nothing crazy and I got used to it. I would put it back on if I get another s2000, the car is so much better with this gear ratio.
stock AP2 diff with the 4.57 FD is what it us. It includes the Yellow Box from Modifry as you will need to adjust speed. If you dont intend to boost the car this is the best bet to get more torque.
