This HU was installed in my 2000 car for only a few weeks and has been sitting in my basement for the last year. Includes all original wiring and parts plus a Wired DCI and plug-n-play harness, all packed in the original Alpine box. HU is in perfect condition.

This unit does exhibit the problem where remote control commands are SOMETIMES not interpreted by the HU if RED illumination is used AND the HU display is dimmed. However, this is one of the "better" ones and actually works over 90% of the time when red & dimmed, not like other X001s that stop working completely. But it might work differently in your car so no guarantee on the "red & dimmed" functionality. Just like other Alpine head units, it of course works all the time if blue illumination is used or if red illumination is used and the dimmer is not activated.

Price - $300 includes shipping to U.S. addresses. If you figure you'd pay over $100 for the DCI & PnP harness that's a pretty good price for the HU. First person to send a PayPal payment for $300 to bob@baustnet.com gets it.
