When it says "iPod ready"... does that mean you can plug the iPod directly into the back of the deck? Or does it mean that you have to buy that Alpine-KCA-420i "IPod interfafce adaptor" unit for another $100 to get it to work?

My reasoning for asking is that they say satellite ready, but you still need to buy the Sirius/XM receiver/antenna stuff.

any of the alpine radios have to have the kca-420i for ipod use. same as for the xm except they made a head unit that had it built in at one point i believe.

UNIT IS SOLD.
