Default Advice on value of OEM HT?

I was recently approached to sell my hardtop. I have a OEM GPW Hardtop with OEM Hardware and was offered $2400. Hardtop is in good condition minus a chip on the drivers side. I was wondering if you think $2400 is a good price and just wanted to basically make sure I was not under selling myself. Thanks for any input.

2,400 is a good price for any other color hardtop.

$2,400 is IMO, cheap for a GPW. People would easily pay the extra premium price for a GPW Hardtop. i'd say start at $2,800 and go lower from there. People might not agree but its usually the GPW's with the most ballin stuff on S2Ki lol

Why would a GPW hardtop be cheaper then other colors? Is the paint more expensive

In that case BB hardtops should be the cheapest! go ahead I'll take em

I was offered $3000 for my GPW hardtop a couple times and a few lower offers but not much lower. I wouldn't sell for anything less than $3000 if it's in excellent condition. If you want to get rid of it quick, then sell for $2700.

Also if you plan on selling your car in the future, i'd keep the hardtop and give the buyer of the s2k a chance to buy your car with hardtop for an extra fee. This might help you sell your car faster because you have the hardtop option.

I agree with the previous posts, If you are not in dire need of a quick sale or the cash you should be able to get more then $2,400 easily. It's to my understanding that since Honda no longer produces OEM hardtops, they should be worth possibly even more in the future.

I agree with all of the post above. The OEM Hardtop (00-07) IS in fact discontinued, however, there are quite a few Spa/Rio Yellow OEM Hardtops still available through Honda at a much greater price. With that said, the OEM Hardtop (08+) in Berlina IS available if you can provide a CR make vin number.

Comes up with the shell and parts separately?

Hardtopguy bought all of the last remaining inventory of OEM hardtops. He is selling them for $3500 and there are just a few colors(Red, Blue & Yellow) and less than 10 tops for sale
