it connects as a plug to the "CD CHanger" port behind the head unit.

All you need to do is remove the head unit.

I'll take them both if:

1) ...the ipod adapter is included
&
2) ...the headunit will work with our radio controls (to the left of the s2000's steering wheel)

The HU & Ipod will go for 150$ if packaged together

It is a stock/factory unit, so in theory it should work 100% with the left-side control buttons. However, your profile shows that you have a 2000 model. This is a 05. I know there are minor differences in the audio system such as the 03+ have stock tweeters, 06+ have rear speaker outputs (?), so i cant be certain it will work.

it would be best to check in the electronics forum to make sure 05 head units are compatible in 00 cars
