Default Wake the Dragon

We're just about a month away from WTD! I was wondering who from Allegheny is making the 500+ mile trek to Deals Gap.

Also, I dont know if there will be enough of a group to do a caravan south (or two), but I believe LineSuper is leaving Wednesday Morning and I will be leaving Thursday night or Friday morning. I'm leaving from Pittsburgh, so if anyone would like to join in, please feel free.

Now that I think about it, it might be fun to gather folks for a caravan BACK to the region on Sunday. More on that later...

So post up if you are registered. If you havent registered yet, shame on you (Tina!)

I have to be there early to scout roads for the Poker Run, or I would make the trip with you. As it is, you had better figure on at least a few hours of additional travel time. The Dragon (rt129) is closed on the Tn side. So if you go into Knoxville, you will have a long detour via the Cherohola. I would suggest planning on coming through Asheville, NC and picking up rt 74 to route 28 to Fontana. If you want to participate in the Poker Run, you need to be there at noon on Friday. Looking soooo forward to this.

Sounds like I should high-tail it out of town on Thursday night and try to make it to Wytheville or Summersville (at the very least). Good idea with the detour through AVL. I lived there for a few months - nice town. Might be a good lunch spot.

Well, as always the Dragon was awake and the ride was more than worth it!

He is a video to let you all know some of what you missed!
