, I started a thread in the Mid-Atlantic forum about a track day with Mercedes-Benz that doesn't require an aftermarket roll bar. It will be on the Jefferson Circuit. So far we have 11 S2000's registered. I'm not sure how far away it is for most of you but figured I'd post here just in case any of you were interested.

Thanks for posting this here. It's about a 4 hour drive from where I am (north of Pittsburgh), but for an inexpensive no-roll-bar track day, that is eminently doable.

Unfortunately for me, I will be an eight-hour flight away on that day.

For others - the track is near Winchester, VA.

 

No problem. I don't venture out of the Mid-A forum very often and I am sure a lot of people are the same way with their local forums. Somebody posted a thread about the Nationwide event at Mid-Ohio in the Mid-A section and I had a blast going out there last weekend. So I thought it might be worth it to post here.

There will be another event at Summit the first weekend of October that won't require a roll bar. Once I set up a thread for it I will make sure to post about it here, too. Enjoy your flight

 

Thanks for posting this here! I used to go on the Mid-A forum a fair amount to keep up with what was going on since I was down there about once a month.

I am definitely interested in signing up for this. I was going to do a track day at Nelson Ledges in Ohio that weekend, but I would rather get a chance to go on Summit Point since I do not have a roll bar yet and there are only a couple days a year you can get out there without one.

Please post up the October day too once you get a thread started!

 

It should be noted that this event will be on Summit Point's Jefferson Circuit and not the main course. I haven't driven this track yet but it looks like a S2000 friendly track because it has a lot of turns.

 

Looks like fun but I can't make that Sunday.
