Track, Autocross and Drag Events

jsut wondering if anyone here autocrosses their S's.
if your interested in giving it a go, theres a race on sept 23 (next weekend) and i will definitly be there (slidding around because this will be my second time ever in RWD). the race is in the pool parking lot at North Park. I hope to see some S2000s out there!

and for those who dont know what it means to autocross, it easy to come out and try, and its a great way to learn to drive well. heres an example from my old car: Clickety

Thanks for the info and link Mark. Bill (bc02) likes to autocross. Unfortunatley, he recently blew his engine racing...

Saturday, April 19th - BeaveRun Motorsports Complex
10:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Auto X
It's not yet competiton, but, for $40.00 you can auto X as much as you can for 6 1/2 hours.
I was at the first auto x of the year last week and there were 2 other S2Ks there.
Anyone interested in doing multiple auto x at BeaveRun can head to their website and sign up for a 5-session pass for $125.00. It's a pretty good deal considering they are $30 and $40 each. I can help anyone who needs assistance getting a hold of someone at the track.

They are req'd. If you do not have one there are loaners at the track. Sometimes I will even have an extra in case someone needs one.
They don't have to be SA2005 or anything special for these Auto X. an M class helmet works just fine.
Also, if anyone decides they are going to come out, let me know!

What do you mean crazy? there is no horsing around.
The auto x is held at a seperate area than the north circuit. so there is no interaction betwenn groups out there.
As far as the auto x themselves, we have seasoned veterans out there as well as noob roockies doing this for heir first time.

That is great to hear! I didn't mean any ill will - i must have heard about another event. Can you give me a link for more info or pm me. I did my first event last fall with fall colors and loved it! Where you down there?
