Default "Tech Day" is over...now what?

Well...since "Tech-Day" is officially over...we can switch our concentration to our other upcoming events...

Reminder of upcoming events:

1. April 21-23 "Wake the Dragon" A link to this event is located in the sticky titled "2006 schedule of events. I'm to lazy to post another one...

2. "May" starts our group drive season. Our group drive leader is Villian2000! I hope we can get as many members as possible to turn out. This is always a great time to meet one another and check out member cars. Maybe I'll have my supercharger on by then.

3. "Make-A-Wish Car Show June 25th" at Monroeville Mall. I know this event seems way off into the future. But, before it gets here...I want to have the event planned out as much as possible. We are meeting on Friday to walk the lot and brainstrom ideas for the show. We need ideas, comments, suggestions and most of all help. If you can make it or can make a contribution in another way, please let me know.

a possible drive down to M.I.R (maryland international raceway) would be fun for you guys to do, come down on a weekend for fun runs and test and tune. you can get official qm times and test out those new gears. I could try to find some info out for ya.

Does MIR require roll bars other than our stock roll hoops? Also, do they have open track days like Summit Point?

you have to be below 12s to need a roll bar, and yes they do have open track days, every friday night and one or 2 saturdays a month. something fun to think about. some of my friends are going this friday.

The meeting is scheduled for tomorrow (Friday) at the Kaufmann's lot around 6:30-7. Unfortunately, I am not going to be able to make it Friday night. However, I will be meeting Maury at Kaufmann's on Saturday. He can fill me in with all the details of the show. If Friday doesn't work out for any of you but Saturday will, please let me know. Perhaps we can have 2 meetings???
