Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix 2012
#31
The Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix appeared to be a huge success this year. The weather held up both days though it was very humid. Got to talk with Mike(mmoore9700)and Sara on Sat. and Sun. and Mike(revvy)and his friend Chris on Sun. Cars and Coffee had a spectacular display and the Italian Cortile right next to them just doubled the exotic bling factor. On Sun. there were probably at least 6 S2K's in the Asian section. Seems to grow bigger and better every year!

We saw 2 S2000s Saturday, both silver AP1s. There was also 2 NSXs right beside them. I really need to sign up one year.

I had a great time also. It was meeting and talking Walt(cilocar) and his wife. I have a bunch of pictures that we took as soon as I get a free moment to take them off the camera I will post them up.
I say for next year we try and organize a group to head down there together.

I was there as well on Saturday morning and into the early afternoon....but not in the S.
My wife got a Mini Cooper this year, joined the Pittsburgh club and we went to the PVGP through them. Almost 200 Minis, the day was sponsored by Mini of Pittsburgh. One of the advantages of owning a car with high sales. And they provided lunch...and a big tent to get some shade!!
Many amazing cars. One I really couldn't believe... a 1960s Ferrari 250 GT. Just restored and worth about $1 million. Sitting on the grass in the Italian section.
