Pittsburgh Downtown Parking
I will be parking downtown much more now and I wanted to find out if anyone has parking garage or lot suggestion. I have been all over the parking website but i wanted to hear personal opinions if they're out there...

i am currently paying $14 a day in the Smithfield garage which is a too pricy for long term.

I wish I could help you on that one. That is one of my biggest peves with downtown. The city wants to attract people to town but continue to nail them on parking. I attended the Home Remodeling Show last Saturday at the convention center. It took us all of 40 mins to see everything and parking was $10 for an hour. 
I guess that's better than the $20-$30 they charge for "event parking"

yeah..i'm working in the heinz 57 center on sixth ave and the smithfield garage opens up straight into my building but at 14/day or 275/month i am looking for other options. i can park at mellon arean for $6 a day but that's a decent walk....we'll see
