I have driven most of those roads in the past year. 6/948 from warren to kane isnt in that nice of shape, lots of bad potholes and degraded surfaces. They did work on the first mile out of sheffield late last year. I will be down there next month so i will check it out again.
Maybe i drive it too much as my brother inlaw's camp is just south of sheffield (brookston). There is a nice place to pull off and eat a packed lunch between there and sheffield, cherry run i believe. Logging/drilling road that is well maintained for the first few hundred yards with quite a bit of off the road parking.
Imo if you get near titusville you need to take 27 over to meadville. What a wonderful stretch of road that is. Recently paved with everything you can imagine. Up down left right. Hairpin! Wooohoooo!
Ok got excited there. I broke my sti in on that road last year. What a blast!

Haven't forgotten about this guys. Been assisting on a sister project at work and putting in 80+ hour weeks. Should be wrapped up this week and then we can get some solid plans on the calendar!

Bryan, there's a great new restaurant across the street from the new Cars N Coffee site (not sure if that restaurant opens for lunch on Saturday). It's called the Juniper Grill. If we ever wanted to have an "S" lunch after CnC, it would be a great place (reasonable, but not cheap).
