Let's go to an AutoX
There's been some interest in the AutoX thread to get a group of us out to an upcoming autocross. It's a great way to learn the limits of your car in a controlled environment. The course has plenty of run-off/spin-off room and speeds are relatively low, so there's little chance of damaging anything at the event.
Here's a good read from the SCR website about how an event works: http://scrsolo.com/i-want-to-run/novice-guide/
I propose we do the autox on June23rd 30th at Pitt Race. Anyone interested?

I am interested in going (like I said in my text). The only thing is that is the same weekend as the Tomcatt. What time is the AutoX? If it is in the afternoon that would be perfect. If it is a morning run you might lose some of us to Tomcatt.

Daily Schedule
8:30-9:30 – Registration
8:30-9:45 – Tech
10:00 – Driver’s Meeting
10:15 – First Car Off
That's what they have listed on the SCR website for their autox days.
I wanted to mention, I talked to one of the instructors at PittRace (still can't get used to calling it that), he said that he is working on getting his own autox events similar to the lowkey ones going, so more often and less hassle than the SCCA hosted events.

There's another autox the following weekend on 6/30. Does that interfere with anything? Will update the top post
