LED Daytime Running Lights
So S-Cargo and I have been talking about different DRL options for the car and I stumbled upon these on Amazon. I am thinking of giving them a go for $50.00. Most mods I have seen end up with some sort of LED tacked on and end up looking like crap. This looks almost OEM.

Been seeing these online for a few months now and finally saw them in person at SF2013. LOVE THEM! Just ordered a set up for under $40.

I will keep you guys posted on how fast they get here and how the install went.

Will do! Should be pretty straight forward! I plan on making them true DRLs so I will have them wired up nice and easy. As soon as the key goes to accessory they will be on. I don't plan on having a toggle switch to turn them on or off.
For under $40 shipped you really can't go wrong.

After a shipping issue thanks to USPS messing up (seller was GREAT) my lights finally arrived yesterday. Hoping to get around to the install this weekend. The lights have 2 threaded plastic bolts molded in to the housing and then come with a washer and nut to help lock it in place. It appears as if they expect you to drill 3 holes (1 for the wires and 2 for the threaded bolt) into black plastic piece in the bumper and then lock it from behind. I could see us taking off the bumper to do it. I will have to chat with S-Cargo about it.
Enjoy some pics already.
Came in a tiny little box. However they did drop this box in a heavy duty envelope.
Wrapped nicely inside and they were divided by a piece of carboard.
Lights look pretty simply. So far very happy with the price ($38 shipped). Hard to see them being worth $75+ which is what I have seen them go for.
Close up of the threaded bolt and the mounting materials.

Merged my thread from November when I talked about buying them with my thread from May when I did! Hoping to get these bad boys installed soon.
